Originating from Southeast New Hampshire, David started his career stage managing throughout the East Coast area. Since then he has toured and worked around the United States and into Canada continuing his passion with the arts.

 

A focused, energetic, and safety conscious production and stage manager drawing from both wide experience and a variety of useful skills, such as technical directing, light design, and even a little bit of sewing. Proficient in trouble shooting and problem solving with technology and people, and able to communicate effectively and efficiently with the tech crew and actors alike. A strong leader that guides the many individuals and components of theatre together to create a high-quality, professional, and enjoyable show for audience members, actors, directors, and those involved on every level. Offering experience working with professional, local, and travelling theatre in a wide array of capacities, and providing an impressive and growing set of technical and interpersonal skills.

 

Experience ranges from intimate caberet-style theatre to a large outdoor venue drawing in 3,000 patrons nightly, and includes experience working with circus artists of varying styles and techniques.

 

In addition to stage management, his work in production management has greatly enhanced his technical, organization, and communication abilities, from overseeing the yearly installation of a performance venue (including truss and mainstage musical/stage installation, and lighting and sound rigs) to overseeing designers, scheduling, and advancing large concerts and music festivals.

 

The culmination of these other jobs affords a well-rounded knowledge of technical theatre which enhances his stage managing capabilities.
